The story of Heart of God Fellowship Ministries in Killeen, Texas is filled with Divine intervention and inspiration by God through the Holy Spirit. 

After receiving a vision in 2010 and much prayer seeking God for answers to the vision, pastor received revelation that it was his duty to lead souls out of the darkness and bring them into the light.  Thus, 25 December 2016 he received confirmation from God to immediately birth Heart of God Fellowship Ministries. With only two weeks of preparation, barely any finances, equipment, personnel, or a name for the church, he stepped out on faith, trusting God that because He called him, He would supply every need and more. With one week remaining, the church had its name and God sent twelve individuals with a financial blessing, just enough to get the remaining equipment and accessories to start building His ministry. The church was dedicated in his home the night of 31 December 2016 and the following day 1 January 2017, the first worship service was held.

EXPANDING THE VISION…

The same year and six months later, God moved Heart of God Fellowship Ministries to an outside, new location because the church had been growing. The Bible teaches that God builds the church, so it had been His ordained purpose to lead HOGFM to be a haven for many in various capacities. From feeding the homeless to training the young and mature-aged to follow Jesus. Our aim is to reach the lost and brokenhearted and to show them the love of Jesus Christ here on earth. The Word says if He be lifted up, He will draw all men unto Him.

WHERE WE ARE HEADED...

From 2016 we have seen God’s hand continue to be upon HOGFM, even though many struggles challenged in the ministries. God reminded Pastor John, “Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary” (Galatians 6:9). Satan is the darkness and Jesus Christ is the Light. So, HOGFM is moving forward with the work of the church, pushing back against the dankness, while leading those trapped in darkness into the light of Jesus Christ. As we steadily grow and believe that God will send fervent laborers, HOGFM places our utmost trust by faith in Him to expand and build His Church. We are believing God to:

• For a permanent dwelling place and resources for HOGFM to build upon
•  Develop a Church website and App
• Positioning the ministry to reach the world
• Implement growth through biblical doctrine and foundational courses
• Leading others out of financial depth and distress

Overall Long-Term Goal…

Also focus on 1) Mentoring Disciples, 2) Financial Health Assessments, 3) Spiritual Enrichment, and 4) Life Skills.

Jesus came to earth to be about His Father’s business. It’s our duty to be about the business of
Jesus Christ as He leads, and we follow by being a good stewart.
